Stone Separator

Stone Separator

Stone separators are used in flour mills to remove materials such as stones, metal, glass, and soil—which have a specific gravity different from that of wheat—from the wheat. They are an indispensable component of dry cleaning systems in particular.

Stones and similar materials can easily find their way into wheat from the environment. If these materials are not removed from the wheat, the ash content in the flour will be high after milling. This is an undesirable characteristic.

MATTERS TO BE OBSERVED DURING THE WORK PERIOD
1-) Air pressure should always be checked.
2-) The engine mounting bolts should be checked.
3-) The motor rotation directions must be checked.
4.) The front panel adjustment level should be checked.
5.) The screens of the stone separator should be removed at least once every two months, and the broken wheat grains clogging the mesh should be blown out with compressed air.

APPLICATIONS
A-) Flour and semolina mills
B-) Rice mills
C-) All types of legume processing plants
